The Child and Youth Helpline is for children and youths under the age of 21, and can be accessed via phone, chat and through digital message service.

Family Federation of Finland (Väestöliitto)

The Family Federation of Finland is a non-governmental organisation that improves people’s well-being and the connection between people. They offer a range of information, researches and services as chats, quizzes and material for self-help.

  • Private chat for parents of small children – In the Perhepulma chat, you can talk anonymously and confidentially with a Väestöliitto expert one-on-one about parenting, relationships, sexuality, or the everyday life of a family with small children, that are puzzling you. The service is free of charge and is aimed at parents with children under school age. Service is in Finnish or English.

Folkhälsan is a modern, non-profit social and health care organization that offers various forms of help, support and activities in all stages of life.

MLL (Mannerheim League for Child Welfare)

The Mannerheim League is the largest child welfare organization in Finland. They promote the wellbeing of children and of families with children, increases respect for childhood and seeks to make it more visible, and sees that children’s views are taken into account in public decision-making. The association arranges gathering places as family cafés for families with small children, and afternoon clubs for the younger school students.

Nuoret Lesket ry

Nuoret lesket ry is non-profit organisation based on peer support, which mission is to support young widows, widowers and widowed families. Nuoret Lesket ry provides peer support, counselling and guidance on dealing with matters related to widowhood. They also endeavour to address all grievances related to the legal and financial position of widows, widowers and widowed families.
