Procrastination is sometimes understood as not getting anything done, which definitely sounds undesirable. So, we think it is counterproductive and that it is a weakness in us as individuals, and that we should get rid of it altogether.

Self-compassion is a compassionate attitude towards ourselves, especially when we’re having a hard time. Self-compassionate people talk to themselves in the same way as they would talk to a friend.
