Members and Board of Directors

Nyyti ry’s membership consists of seven member organizations.
The Board of Directors oversees Nyyti ry’s operations based on the decisions made in the association’s meetings. The term of office for board members and the chairperson is two calendar years.

Projects

We carry out various development projects related to students’ mental health, study ability, and well-being. The aim of these projects is to create new practices to promote students’ mental well-being and strengthen the conditions for well-being work within student communities. We also act as a partner and co-implementer in various projects.

Internships and Jobs

Interns at Nyyti typically carry out a small-scale project related to promoting students’ mental health, participate in Nyyti’s communication activities, and engage in workplace community activities.

Partnerships

We support student communities at Nyyti ry by implementing targeted partnership projects with higher education institutions to introduce peer mentoring models developed by Nyyti ry. The purpose of the partnership activities is to pilot and embed peer mentoring within the student community through close collaboration between Nyyti and the higher education institution.

Memberships

Nyyti ry is a member of four different organizations and actively participates in six different networks.

Thesis Collaboration

We offer ideas for thesis and internship project topics, empirical research data, and content support. However, we do not act as the commissioner or main supervisor of theses, but rather as a background supporter, commentator, and sparring partner.

Advocacy

We actively strive to take a stand and influence decision-making concerning higher education students. We advocate for every student’s right to good mental health. We work to ensure a society where students have the opportunity to thrive.
